Local roller derby team had a special visitor last week

(Riverton, WY) – Mama Noodle didn’t get to try her paw at roller skating last week, but she did get to hang out with the Fremont County Roller Derby team during their practice – which was mostly just loving on Mama Noodle and making her an honorary derby girl.

She is 2 years 7 months old and for nearly a year has been in search of a forever home. She has spent time at both the Red Desert Humane Society and the Lander Pet Connection, where she currently resides.

The animal care staff works hard with Mama Noodle, but kennel life is not for her.

She is an American Staffordshire Terrier, cattle dog, and an Australian Shepherd mix.

She loves, loves people and puppies but not cats, and should probably be the only dog unless vetted first. She is a loving, loyal girl who wants to spend her time watching TV, going on walks, or playing ball.

She also loves the roller girls and seems to be at her best with females rather than males.

Applications are online at landerpets.org/adopt. Lander Pet Connection processes applications in the order they come in.
