(Casper, WY) – United States Attorney Bob Murray announced today that Brian Williams, 20, of Arapahoe, appeared before Chief United States District Judge Scott W. Skavdahl for sentencing on February 17th, 2022, on two counts of assault resulting in serious bodily injury, according to a release issued by the Department of Justice.

Williams was sentenced, on each count, to 3 years supervised probation with the first 6 months on home confinement and was ordered to pay restitution.

The charges stem from a March 13, 2021, incident where Williams was driving a truck in a reckless manner, while intoxicated, in a field at a bonfire party attended by several of Williams’ friends on the Wind River Reservation.
