Local lows dip to -15 degrees this morning; “dangerous” wind chills forecasted

(Riverton, WY) – Just before 5:00 am this morning, February 13th a low of -15˚ at the Riverton Airport was recorded, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton. Crowheart was next in line with -14˚.

While it is cold here in Fremont County, NWSR reports the temps in Big Horn County dropped to -30˚. The full report of overnight lows since midnight for Western and Central Wyoming can be found here.

Wind chills are expected to hit parts of Fremont County starting at 11 am today through tomorrow morning.
