    Local hunting regulation meetings slated for March

    (Fremont County, WY) – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is holding three local public meetings and has opened a comment period to gather public input on 10 hunting seasons.

    The local meetings will be held in Riverton at the Fremont County Library on March 17th at 6 pm, Dubois on March 22nd at the Headwaters Arts and Conference Center at 6 pm, and Lander on March 24th at the Lander Game and Fish Regional Office at 6 pm.     Written comments shall be accepted through 5 p.m. April 1 online, at public meetings or by mailing:

    Copies of the proposed regulations are available on the department website and at the address above in accordance with Chapter 1 Regulation Governing Access to Public Records.

    Written comments shall be presented to the Game and Fish Commission prior to the public hearing at their April 2022 meeting in Lander.
