Local grassroots movement for unity hopes to catch the attention of D.C.

(Lander, WY) – Lander resident Raymond Post took the leap the first of this year and created a Facebook group, United by Unity. A place open to everyone willing to work together, find common ground, and discuss major issues in the U.S.

“My hopes are that we can build a large enough base that we will be heard and capture the attention in Washington,” Post explained. “Everyone is invited to this group. Together we can move mountains!”

He had been thinking about creating this group for a while and decided right now is the time to get it going.

“I would like to conduct polls about major issues in our country that the president himself might look at and see what Americans want,” he continued. “I want people to have a place where they can discuss issues without the fear of being bullied.”

Post has a zero-tolerance policy on the page for hate speech or bullying and wants to make sure everyone feels safe participating in the conversations.
