Riverton Middle School instructor Alma Law is a favorite among his language arts students. His passion and creativity help inspire his students to take on unique projects.
Each October, the community is reminded that Law is also our resident ghost story expert.
A few years ago Alma and some of his students worked to put together a book called ‘Fremont Haunts,’ which tells some of Fremont County’s spookier stories and urban legends. PS – You can find that book at the Riverton Museum, Riverton Branch Library, and a handful of other places across the state.
Law will host a couple of Halloween-themed events in Riverton next week. On Thursday, October 17th Law is hosting a presentation called “Ghost Stories, Urban Myths, and Legends” at the Riverton Museum (700 E. Park Ave)
On Saturday, October 19th, he’ll guide a “Haunted Walking Tour” in downtown Riverton.
Alma joined us this week on the County 10 Podcast to chat about those events and some of his favorite Fremont County ghost stories!
