Republican United States Representative for Wyoming, Liz Cheney, took to Twitter this week to respond to national news headlines inspired by President Donald Trump about potentially delaying the 2020 election.
Earlier this week President Trump floated the idea of delaying the 2020 election, based on his allegations that there may be increased mail-in voting fraud.
Cheney fired back at that scenario on Twitter Thursday.
Earlier this summer, Cheney made headlines with the Trump campaign after a Florida Representative, Matt Gaetz, tweeted that Cheney had been, “working behind the scenes against Trump and his agenda.”
Donald Trump Jr. retweeted the comments from Gaetz, comparing Liz to Utah Senator Mitt Romney.
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul also weighed in on the argument.
