On Saturday, December 7th from 3 – 6 pm at South 7th & Main Street in Lander, kick-off Christmas with Light Up Lander.

We hope everyone will come out and join us – this is a great event for the whole family and we love seeing the community come together!

    – Shelby Cronk

Duke and Don are two draft horses owned by the Jacobs family in Lander. These beauties have been getting ready for the walk down Main Street with the State Farm wagon in tow. Think it looks like fun? Starting at 3 pm, take a ride in the State Farm wagon behind two of the sweetest draft horses you will ever meet!

Duke and Don are ready to Light Up Lander! Are you?

Santa will arrive on the fire truck at 3 pm. There will be games, prizes & candy, hayrides, cookies, hot cocoa, music & more!

Bring canned goods to receive tickets for the bike and scooter raffle. The canned goods will be donated to the Community Christmas Baskets and the Care & Share Food Bank. Drawing for the bikes and scooters will be at 5 pm and you must be present to win.

The Christmas Light Parade will follow the festivities! There are already over 30 participants signed up but they will allow last minute people to participate (just need Christmas lights on the vehicle).

Line-up for the parade starts at 5 pm with the parade starting at 6 pm. The parade will follow Santa on the fire truck and the LVHS Tiger Marching Band. Santa will help light the trees on Main Street and the parade will end at Centennial Park for the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

Come out and have a great time. Enjoy the parade! – Mayor Richardson
