The Gem Theater is still showing the horror sequel, A Quiet Place Part II. It may be silent but it guarantees to keep you on the edge of your seat! This movie stars John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Cillian Murphy.
Following the events at home, the Abbott family now face the terrors of the outside world. Forced to venture into the unknown, they realize the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats lurking beyond the sand path.
The Gem and Grand Theaters are showing the animated feature Spirit Untamed. Lucky Prescott’s life is changed forever when she moves from her home in the city to a small frontier town and befriends a wild mustang named Spirit.
A film version of the Broadway musical, In the Heights hits the Gem this weekend.
In the Heights centers on a variety of characters living in the neighborhood of Washington Heights, on the northern tip of Manhattan. At the center of the show is Usnavi, a bodega owner who looks after the aging Cuban lady next door, pines for the gorgeous girl working in the neighboring beauty salon, and dreams of winning the lottery and escaping to the shores of his native Dominican Republic. Meanwhile, Nina, a childhood friend of Usnavi’s, has returned to the neighborhood from her first year at college with surprising news for her parents, who have spent their life savings on building a better life for their daughter. Ultimately, Usnavi and the residents of the close-knit neighborhood get a dose of what it means to be home.

Feeling like a live-action Disney flick? You’re in luck! The Gem is still showing the newest from Disney, Cruella, a live-action prequel feature film following a young Cruella de Vil. This movie features Emma Stone as Cruella.
Barry Cinemas has changed its hours and will be closed Monday and Tuesday until further notice. That still leaves plenty of time to catch a great movie on the big screen. They are now reserving seats which means you can pick your seat online or when you pay at the theater.
