Local Businesses and Organizations, do you have what it takes to be crowned the WINNER of the first annual Rendezvous Games?
We dare you to challenge your rival organization to see who rises to the top in a series of challenges that require a variety of talent, including creativity, endurance, coordination, strength and teamwork! It’s going to be EPIC!
The Rendezvous Games will be held in Riverton City Park on February 2nd from 10am-4pm. Businesses, organizations, or teams representing a sponsor will consist of 4-6 individuals over the age of 18. Assemble your team wisely! The cost to register a team is $100 and must be completed by January 23rd. Teams can register by cash or check at ‘R’ Recreation, Riverton City Hall, or with the two generous event sponsors, Wind River Radio Network and Western States Propane.
There will be an opening ceremony where each team will be introduced with their “theme song” playing with the opportunity to intimidate the other teams! Teams will be “seeded” in the order of registration, so getting registered early is part of the strategy! Once the events are complete the Rendezvous Games will conclude with a free chili feed and award ceremony.
Spectators and families are encouraged to come out and cheer on the participants and just enjoy being a part of the positive momentum in our community.
There will be food vendors, fun youth activities and tethered balloon rides. At dusk we will light up the evening sky with the launching of individual sky lanterns free for anyone in attendance. We can’t think of a single reason why you wouldn’t participate in this awesome, family-friendly, first annual event.
