Lander Community Foundation’s 10-for-10 Celebration is presented by Wyoming Community Bank – Your Hometown Bank with Hometown Pride.
For the week of July 11th-18th, Lander Community Foundation is highlighting these two Lander organizations-
Friends of the Lander Golf Course came about as a way to help the Lander Golf Course with its replacement of course maintenance equipment. The fleet of mowers, tractors, sprinklers, etc. are beyond the end of their lifespan and maintenance costs continue to grow.
Your C4C donation designated to the Friends of the Golf Course will enable the Lander Golf Course to keep the price of green fees and season passes at an affordable price for community members. Donations will also support the use of the course in the offseason for winter recreational activities at no charge to the participants. Please remember Friends of the Lander Golf Course when donating through 2020 Challenge for Charities!
We are all “Neighbors helping Neighbors” serving Fremont County for over 30 years.
The Lander Care & Share Food Bank will hold a “Drive up, Drop off” curbside food drive Tuesday, July 14, 4-7 p.m. at 281 Garfield St.
Since late March, the Lander Food Bank has seen a monthly increase from approximately 1,500 to 1,800 Fremont County residents who need food assistance. If you’d like to help our community by donating this is your chance! Your donation will be matched through the Challenge for Charities until September 15. We are also in need of unexpired canned or boxed food items like cereal, jelly, pasta, crackers, or tuna and welcome you to donate these items anytime we are open..
Thank you in advance from the Lander Care & Share Food Bank board, volunteers, and clients!
