    Large sections of Interstate 80 shut down early Wednesday

    (Wyoming) – Major sections of Interstate 80 have closed as of 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning and are expected to remain impacted by a winter storm throughout the next 48 hours.

    As of 6:00 a.m. Rawlins to Cheyenne was closed both directions and Rock Springs to Wamsutter was closed eastbound.

    The majority of Wyoming, including Fremont County are now under a Winter Storm Warning Wednesday and Thursday. Travel is expected to be impacted throughout the state.
