Large hail hits central Wyoming Monday; Damage reported in many communities [Photos, Videos]

Residents from across central Wyoming recorded a series of strong storms that produced up to 2 1/2 inch hail, heavy rainfall, severe thunderstorm, and even triggered a tornado warning.

Hot Springs County radar picked up rotation and what appeared to be a funnel cloud was snapped in a photo below between Thermopolis and Worland. The tornado did not appear to touch down.

Many residents in Thermopolis, Pinedale, areas of Dubois, and areas west of Riverton reported hail damage.
