Eight members of Lander’s Popo Agie Pickleball Club headed to Casper this past weekend to compete in the Cowboy State Games Pickleball Championship. This championship includes Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles divisions; and a Best of the Best which was played in a round-robin format as random doubles.
“Bill Diage and Tom Varichak took Gold in Group B Men’s Doubles. Nancy Pieropan and Tom grabbed Bronze in Group B Mixed Doubles,” shared Tom Varichak. “The entire Lander contingent made a fine showing and is expected to do well in future tournaments.”
