Mulino Italian Bistro in Lander is officially open. You can find it behind the Mill House on Main Street and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Chef Joe Hammer brings his recipes for scratch-made pasta, bread, and sauces from Philadelphia to Fremont County. This simple Italian restaurant fills a niche that was not being met in Lander and is at a price point between fine dining and casual dining, owner Jill Hunter shared. “We want to compliment the town without competing against the other restaurants.”
Not only do they source as many ingredients as possible locally they also offer specially ordered wines you won’t find anywhere else in Fremont County. Including French, Italian, and Spanish options.
The restaurant itself has a maximum occupancy of 53 people, and during the warmer months, outdoor seating will offer an additional 53 seats.
It is highly recommended to make a reservation. You can do so by calling 307-349-4016, use the ‘book now’ option on their Facebook page or through Open Table.
