#LanderBiz: Local family purchased Anytime Fitness this week

#landerbiz, brought to you by the Lander Chamber of Commerce, shares the stories of the local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.

(Lander, WY) – Tyson and Whitney Lee became the official owners of Anytime Fitness in Lander this week, and are excited to embark on this new adventure with their two daughters, 6-year-old Riley and 1-year-old Macy.

Tyson, a third-generation Landerite and pilot for Guardian Flight, shared he has always been into fitness, noting he had experienced different gym types and programming when he moved around for his job over the years.

“Being able to be able to buy [the gym] now and put all that knowledge to work is really exciting.”

They are hitting the ground running since taking ownership this week and are offering the first month on them for any new or returning members now through October 26th.

Anytime Fitness will be open 24 hours a day and staffed during business hours.

A few of their goals include: adding, updating and upgrading some equipment, creating group fitness classes as well as offering personal trainers.

Whitney, a stay-at-home parent, shared they are going to convert one of the two racquetball courts that is not in use right now into a Functional Fit Room.

“That will have additional room for kettlebells, more racks and weights, and where we plan on having group sessions,” she noted.

Whitney plans to fill the general manager role and will be there most days. Tyson has a unique schedule being an on-call pilot, however, he plans to be there when he’s not flying patients in need of medical care.

Though they may now get in fewer games of UNO and trampoline time as a family, they are excited to help the community reach and maintain their fitness goals.

Websites and social media are still transitioning owners, but you can call (307) 332-2811 or swing by the gym, 943 Amoretti Street, if you have any questions.
