(Lander, WY) – The Lander Young Professionals (LYP) is hosting their very first event on Thursday, August 12th, at 7 pm in the Coalter Loft, located above the Lander Bar.
All young professionals ages 21 and up are invited to attend this new networking event. There is no official dress code for attending and you don’t have to worry about bringing business cards.
Organizers shared they want to foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere with this group. So, if you’re not in your twenties or maybe you don’t feel like your job is “professional,” don’t be discouraged from attending.
This local initiative is meant to help foster professional relations, promote local businesses and highlight the opportunities that are out there.
They want to retain young people in Lander and build community ties, noted Tory Thoman, one of the organizers.
Since this is the very first event, LYP plans to send out a survey to attendees and gauge future events based on the feedback.
So far, their connections with businesses and community members about hosting events like this networking mixer have been positive, Tory shared.
