Celebrate summer with the Lander Valley Farmers Market

A big thank you to this week’s sponsor Wyoming Community Bank for bringing you this content on County 10.

It will be a big day at Lander City Park this Saturday, August 11th. It’s a day for local produce, music and art at the Farmers Market.

Your toes might start tapping and your shopping bag might begin to swing while you shop as you listen to Big Cedar Fever. This trio from central Texas specializes in three-part harmonies and Western swing and jazz.

The summer bounty is here and who knows what you might find at the market this week. Squash, lettuces, beans, cucumbers, herbs, peaches and Montana cherries are just some of the goodies you’ll find.

Shop from 9-11:30 then head to Riverfest where the Lander Art Center has a full day planned for you with art demonstrations, activities and more music.

If you plan to be out for the day, consider bringing a cooler to keep your dairy and produce cool and safe. Or head home and unload, then plan to spend the day out.

Raffle tickets are still available for the Farmers Market Quilt. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for 5 and available for purchase at the market booth on Saturday mornings. The winner will be drawn at our Harvest Party September 15. You need not be present to win.

Remember to keep Fido leashed and under control at all times. The market is a safe place for everyone. Help us keep it that way.
