Lander Strikers (competitive traveling soccer) hosted an inaugural Lander Invitational youth soccer tournament this past weekend. Fields at four locations around town were at capacity with 58 teams (ages 6 – 19) from around the state vying honors.
Hotels reported being sold out in Lander, and the spillover had visitors staying in Riverton and driving over daily for matches.
There were hundreds of parents and other volunteers helping to pull off this event that Lander Strikers hopes to make an annual tradition.
