Lander Rotary donates over $5,000 to local nonprofits Thursday

The Lander Rotary Club has been busy volunteering and raising money for local nonprofits this summer. Today, September 24th, the Lander Community Foundation and the Lander Care and Share Food Bank were each presented checks in the amount of $2,625 in hopes of providing small business relief as well as food aid to families in need.

“During times like this, the Lander Rotary Club is needed now, more than ever,” Lander Rotary President John Brown said. “It is our firm commitment to the Lander community that prompted us to raise money and to seek additional funding for this project in the form of a grant from our local Rotary district to help with providing financial aid to mitigate some of the effects that COVID-19 has had on our town.”
