    Lander Police Department apprehends two suspects in restaurant burglaries

    On Tuesday morning, a Lander Police Department media release stated that they had received two phone calls about break-ins to Lander Main Street restaurants.

    Tony’s Pizza reported that their back door had been kicked in and that there was broken glass. It was not in the release if any property was taken from the restaurant.

    An employee at restaurant, Thai Chef, reported to LPD that someone had apparently broken in and “all of the money was gone.”

    Lander Police immediately began working with the restaurants to review security footage. They developed a lead on two suspects. A 22-year-old Fremont County man was interviewed and confessed to being involved in both incidents.

    A 14-year-old male was also determined to be involved in the two incidents. He was later interviewed and also confessed.

    Neither of the identities has been released to us at this point.
