USA Today has released a list of their top 20 small towns for outdoor adventure and there are three Wyoming communities on the list.
Lander, Buffalo, and Jackson all crack the top 20.
USA Today describes, “The historic town of Lander sits just a few miles from the spectacular scenery of Sinks Canyon State Park, a popular destination for hiking, climbing, backpacking and fishing. The area even hosts the annual International Rock Climbers Festival, drawing thousands of enthusiasts from around the globe.”
Users are encouraged to log on and vote for their favorite of the 20 picks.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Lander ranks 10th out of the 20 communities listed. Marquette, Michigan currently holds the top spot followed by Buffalo, Wyoming, and Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Jackson is holding 9th spot right now.
