Lander PD investigating gas station hot dog theft

A pair of thieves relished the opportunity to create what was frank-ly one of the weirder calls the Lander Police Department responded to over the weekend.

A gas station on the 100 block of East Main Street reported that two thieves had stolen two hot dogs around 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Unfortunately LPD was unable to “ketchup” to the two individuals. Luckily, the store has security cameras, so if these two come back around they should be… in some hot water.

Lander Police responded to several thefts around town over the weekend and are encouraging residents to lock vehicle doors at night. More information about the latest string of auto burglaries can be found here.
