Lander Municipal Court will be held at the Lander Community and Convention Center, 950 Buena Vista during the courtroom remodel, according to an update from the City of Lander. Tuesday, October 27th will be the first court held in the Community Center.
County 10 shared earlier, the building that houses City Hall, Municipal Court, and the Police Department is undergoing a remodel after being award $250,000 in CARES Act funds.
This allows the Municipal Court to handle social distancing and secure, virtual technology systems. The remodel is planned to be complete for the new year. With the temporary court location at the Community Center, all citizens will be afforded their right to a speedy trial.
