Lander Mayor urges residents to make Halloween a fun, safe holiday for everyone

    Lander Mayor Del McOmie will sign a Halloween proclamation this Tuesday at the Lander City Council meeting.

    The proclamation outlines plans to make October 31st a safe, and enjoyable day for all community residents.

    Highlighted items include that children and parents trick-or-treating should observe basic safety techniques, such as wearing light-colored costumes, using reflective tape, and flashlights after dark.


    Trick-or-treating activities should take place primarily between 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

    Motorists are asked to take extreme caution on Halloween.
