Lander Mayor Del McOmie is set to proclaim Wednesday, November 14th as “Geographic Information Systems” Day.
McOmie will read and sign the proclamation at Tuesday’s City Council meeting in the Council Chambers shortly after 6:00 p.m.
Geographic Information Systems are designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present spatial or geographic data. Users can create interactive tools to analyze the information.
