September 8-14 is National Suicide Prevention Week. Lander’s Mayor, Monte Richardson signed a proclamation at the Lander City Council meeting Tuesday night stating the community of Lander would join the national effort.
According to the proclamation, suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for 15-24 year-old’s in Fremont County, and the 10th leading cause of death for people of all ages.
