The Lander LIVE 2018 music season will kick off tonight, Thursday, July 19, featuring headlining band, SUSTO. Starting out the evening will be the Canyon Kids, all located at the Chamber/Jaycee park located at North First and Main Street in Lander, WY.
SUSTO has been given many labels—Americana, alt-country, southern folk, indie rock, even gospel—and though none of these descriptions are inaccurate, they only provide part of the picture.
Tonight’s show opens with special guest and 6 piece outfit, Canyon Kids. Forged on the banks of Wyoming’s Snake River, with an unwavering love of the American West, Canyon Kids are students of Americana, rock, and folk, but also pioneers of something entirely new.
- Gates open at 5pm with opening acts at 5:30pm and headliners 7pm.
- Concerts are Free-Admission, donations appreciated.
Getting to Lander LIVE is easier than ever!
Shuttle rides from the other side of town are being offered this year by the Shoshone Rose Casino and Hotel! Park at the corner of Baldwin Creek and Main and jump on the shuttle for a free ride to Lander LIVE. Shuttle leaves that parking lot at 4:45, 5:00, 5:15 and 6:00 and 7:00. Return shuttles leave Lander LIVE at 6:30, 8:00, 9:00 and 9:30. Big city stuff! OR ride your bike and use the bike parking and valet provided by the Lander Cycling Club! This year, bike parking is on 1st and Lincoln.
