Lander hit-and-run suspect located 19 hours after crash

    Monday afternoon at 3:10 p.m. Lander Police Department officers responded to a report of a 2-vehicle accident at the intersection of Main Street and North 4th Street.

    One of the vehicles involved in the crash, who is believed to be responsible for the accident, left the scene immediately after the wreck.

    Lander Police Department Public Information Officer Duane Kaiser notified County 10 Tuesday morning, that the suspect was located after officers found a vehicle matching the hit-and-run description.


    An 18-year-old driver was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and following too closely.

    Kaiser confirmed there were no injuries in the crash.
