Lander Game & Fish seeking information about an elk left to waste

Lander Game & Fish share the following:

Lander Game Warden Brady Frude is seeking information on an elk found over the weekend in Elk Hunt Area 28. The elk was found in Rock Creek Reservoir, had its head and antlers removed, and all edible portions were left to waste.

Anyone with information on this wildlife violation may report by calling the Stop Poaching Hotline at (877) WGFD-TIP, online at, in a text message to TIP411 (using keyword WGFD), or by calling Brady directly at (307) 332-2704. Reporters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward up to $5,000 if the information leads to a conviction.
