(Lander, WY) – The very first community meeting for the Lander Free Medical Clinic will be held at Lander Library in the Carnegie Room on November 10th starting at 6 pm.
This grassroots effort is spearheaded by local RN Kevin Wilson, who sees the need to provide medical care to those in the community who are underinsured or without health insurance.
Not only will this provide much-needed medical care, but also reduce the cost burden on the community, Kevin explained.
Over the last few months, he has been in contact with the free medical clinics in Cody and Laramie – both have provided support and guidance.
Community members along with medical providers interested in volunteering are encouraged to attend this upcoming meeting.
