(Lander, WY) – Due to the recent upper respiratory infection outbreak in Lander dogs linked to grooming and boarding facilities, Smith Creek Pet Resort, Lander’s only grooming and boarding facility, shut down last Wednesday to completely chemically disinfect.
The Lewis family, who owns the facility, spent the last week scrubbing every square inch; the health and safety of the dogs are top priorities for Smith Creek Pet Resort and they are ready to welcome pups back today, October 20th.
They are diligent about disinfecting and cleanliness every day and between dogs. This is their first outbreak, they shared. Noting they’ve been disease-free for 13 years.
