    Lander Community Foundation announces Platinum Sponsors for Challenge for Charities

    Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness.

    Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

    LANDER COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES THREE MORE PLATINUM SPONSORS FOR CHALLENGE FOR CHARITIES

    Fremont Toyota, Friends of the Canyon and an Anonymous donor have all stepped up to be $10,000 Platinum sponsors for Challenge for Charities. Challengers like these are the backbone for Challenge for Charities fundraiser which has pumped over $2.17 million into our community for local nonprofit programming since 2010.

    Challengers at all levels are helping the Lander community grow and prosper by supporting local nonprofit organizations. This year 44 nonprofit organizations are participating in Challenge for Charities with missions and services that range from arts and culture, to conservation and the environment, to education, health and human services, civic causes of various missions.

    In 2019, a record 6 businesses stepped up to be Platinum Sponsors. Some of the sponsors have donated in excess of the $10,000 level, bringing the total Platinum donations into the 2019 matching pool to $70,000! The Lander Community Foundation Board has successfully raised over $110,000 into the matching pool so far this year, with additional pledges still being fulfilled.

    “Challenge for Charities is proud of the growth we have sustained over the 9 years since its inception in 2010,” says Board Chair Liz Lightner. “As the community philanthropy grows so do the amount and quality of services and projects that our Lander nonprofits provide.”
