Lander Community Foundation announces Platinum Sponsors for Challenge for Charities

Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness.

Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

LANDER COMMUNITY FOUNDATION RECEIVES A $15,000 CONTRIBUTION

    FROM FIRST INTERSTATE BANK

First Interstate Bank has generously contributed $15,000 to Challenge for Charities. This is $5,000 more than their Platinum donation last year and the 9th year they have been a Community Challenger. Locally, First Interstate is able to contribute money to the community that is matched by the First Interstate Bank Foundation.

Victor Robbins says, “We are thrilled to get behind the Lander Community Foundation and be able to help so many local nonprofits with one single donation. First Interstate is committed to our Lander community and many of our employees are also volunteers on the same nonprofit organizations that are supported by Challenge for Charities.”

44 nonprofits are now fundraising individually. Any donations that are designated to a nonprofit through Challenge for Charities will be leveraged by the Challenger pool. Last year the Challenger match was 52% for every dollar that nonprofits raised and $377,309 was distributed back into the community.
