Lander City Council provides updates on liquor licenses

The Lander City Council met Tuesday in their chambers at City Hall, and at the top of the agenda was an update and public hearing on community liquor licenses.

Lander City Clerk Sarah Edlund provided the council members and audience members with an update on three of the licenses and their plans for early 2019.

B&B Lounge’s license will expire in February, and they have submitted an application to renew their license.

Joy’s House Chinese Restaurant will not renew their restaurant license in 2019.

And, Zanmai Sushi plans to request a bar and grill license, which is slightly different than a liquor license in 2019.

A public hearing was met with only one comment from a community member who told council members that he was interested in purchasing a license if it became available.
