Lander Children’s Museum expands preschool hours to meet community need

(Lander, WY) – The Lander Children’s Museum recently received a grant from the LOR Foundation allowing them to help meet the needs of the community.

In response to area daycare and preschool closures, the Lander Children’s Museum (LCM) is increasing preschool services through their Little Curious Minds program. The full-day program (7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.) extends an invitation to families displaced by the recent closures, as well as others in need of preschool services for children ages three to five years old. Little Curious Minds will also continue to offer morning half-day sessions from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

“We’re thrilled to help meet this immediate need for childcare in the community,” says Michelle Escudero, the LOR Foundation’s Lander-area program officer. “Shortly after I learned about the closure of a large childcare facility, the Children’s Museum presented a plan that provides a clear solution for families.”
