Lander Chamber Highlights 2021 Beautification Award Winner

(Lander, WY) — Following the recent announcement of its 2021 Community Awards winners, the Lander Chamber of Commerce has released the next video in its 2021 Community Awards Video Series highlighting Beautification Award winner Hayden Outdoors.

“Bill did such a great job improving the property at 206 Main”, said Owen Sweeney, Lander Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. “it’s a beautiful upgrade for Main Street that brings that immediately identifiable Hayden Outdoors look to Lander.”

Owner/Partner Bill Vacek explains that the inspiration for the beautiful renovation of 206 Main Street was to take the building back to the 1800s (when it was originally built) while adding some modern touches. “We wanted it to have that old hometown feel so when someone came in it was like a flashback to the ‘20s,” explained Vacek. “The bronze elk sculpture that adorns the facade was sculpted by wildlife artist and sculptor Jody Kroeger and cast by Eagle Bronze Foundry.” Bill plans to host an upcoming Business After Hours to showcase the building to the public.

“We’ve received many compliments for our first video, which makes us happy. One of our core functions as a chamber of commerce is to promote our community and the businesses within it. Our intention with these videos was to do just that but on a much broader scale than in years past; we’re delighted people are recognizing it,” explained Sweeney. “This Beautification Award video is the first individual award winner video we’ve released, and we’ll be rolling out more in the coming weeks.”
