Lander band to perform for Wyoming Showcase at Treefort Music Fest in September

(Lander, WY) – The Wyoming Arts Council and Treefort Music Fest have partnered to bring an official Wyoming Showcase featuring six Wyoming acts to Boise, Idaho in September.

Two of the six acts have Lander ties, including the Lander-based Low Water String Band and Laramie-based 10 Cent Stranger.

The four other acts include: Abby Webster (Jackson), Speed the Pilgrim (Casper), Aaron Davis & The Mystery Machine (Jackson/Hoback), and Inland Isle (Jackson).

Festivities will take place Thursday, September 23rd at the Hideout (1114 W. Front St. Boise, Idaho) from 4-10 pm. This event is free and open to the public.

“Everyone is invited to join us for food, drinks (over at Woodland Empire), music, prizes, surprises, and good times,” according to the Wyoming Arts Council.

The ninth annual festival boasts nearly 500 acts from around the world alongside film, comedy, food, yoga, literature, technology, drag, skateboarding, and more.

This partnership is part of the Arts Council’s Wyoming Independent Music Initiative (WIMI) to help artists perform and tour out of state, building their audiences and reach.
