Both Riverton High School and Lander Valley High School will join a nationwide effort to recognize their senior class by “being the light.” Both schools announced plans today to turn on their football field lights to show support for the class of 2020.

Riverton High School release:
Riverton High School along with the RHS Booster Club wants to celebrate our Seniors by lighting up Wolverine Field on Friday, April 10, to show our support for our seniors, spring sport student athletes, all extra curricular students, coaches and families.
Riverton High School will light the Wolverine Field, at 8:20 pm for 20 minutes!
The lights will symbolize pride in our school and in our community. We are a community that is proud to support our Wolverines!
Riverton residents and students can witness this event by driving one-way by the stadium — watch for traffic route info Thursday — between 8:20 and 8:40 pm on Friday, giving a “honk”. PLEASE STAY in your vehicles so we can adhere to the social distancing guidelines.
