Lander 7th-graders organizing City Park clean-up Saturday; Community residents invited to help

Lander Middle School 7th-graders Hallie Wilson and Willow Wells are organizing a community clean-up event at Lander City Park, and volunteers are needed.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 27th between 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Community residents are encouraged to help out if they are available. Helpers can work around their own schedule, and both gloves and trash bags will be provided.

Children aged 11-or-younger will need parental supervision.

If you’d like to help out, advance notice is appreciated and you can contact: [email protected] to let the organizers know you’ll be attending. Those who RSVP will also receive a free zipper pull.

The event is part of what will be a series of Lander Middle School student community service projects. County 10 will be on the lookout for more of these amazing student-inspired stories!
