    Lamonte Cleveland

    Lamonte Cleveland, a construction worker and lifelong resident of Lander, Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2019, at the age of 57.

    Lamonte is survived by his children; Landon Cleveland, Cole Cleveland, Taylor Smith and Leslie Underwood; his siblings; Albert Cleveland, Jeff Cleveland, Lawrence Cleveland Jr, Pam Lang, Tom Jones, and Ken Jones.

    Lamonte was born in Riverton, Wyoming on July 26, 1961, to Evelyn Chavez and Lawrence Cleveland. He grew up working construction with his father and dedicated himself to all the hard work he had done.

    Lamonte was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend. He had a charming personality and he always spread happiness among others. Lamonte had many great talents and hobbies that he indulged in. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being up in the mountains, riding his motorcycle, working hard, and taking on projects at work and around the house. He was known by many people through his welcoming smile and a courageous work ethic. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His positive spirit will surely live on through the people that he loved.

    A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 11 AM, at the Covenant Presbyterian Church located at 875 Fremont Street in Lander, Wyoming. Pastor Scott Macnaughton will officiate. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at the service. A celebration of life will be held after the service at 560 Eugene Street in Lander.
