(Fort Washakie, WY) – Local nonprofit Wind River Grow Our Own 307 will be showing anyone who wants to learn how to make the kombucha and their famous garden box during the 61st annual Eastern Shoshone Indian Days Powwow.
Starting at 3 pm today, June 26th, at the Frank B. Wise building in Fort Washakie, they will be holding a kombucha-making class. Supplies provided!
Also, today at 6:30 pm they will be at the powwow grounds with garden box making supplies for anyone who would like to build a garden box. They will be there until supplies are gone.
They will be back again on Sunday at the powwow grounds at 1 pm until garden box supplies are gone.
This is made possible with a grant from Wyoming’s Hunger Initiative and they hope to continue doing this throughout the summer as funding allows.
