Kick ’em to the curb! (preferably the trash can)

National Kick Butts Day (March 20th) is all about the kids. It’s the perfect day to talk to your children about what can happen if they start smoking. More importantly it’s the perfect chance to discuss all of the alternatives, and might we add more fun, activities compared to smoking or vaping.

The old saying “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” perfectly captures the importance of talking to youth and young adults on the impacts of smoking, vaping, and chewing tobacco.

For those that have lived it and are ready to kick those butts to the curb, the good news is there is help. The Wyoming Quit Tobacco Program (link to website) offers free support and medication to help you on your journey. The best part, it’s not too late! Check out the graphic below showing how your health will improve minutes after you quit for good.
