    Kathy Marie Reinard Chapman

Our dear wife, mother, sister, friend, grandmother, great grandmother returned home on January 8, 2020, after a brief but couragous battle with her 2nd cancer diagnosis (T-cell lymphona).

Kathy was born in DuBois, Pennsylvania to Harold F. Rienard and Jessie Mae Kuntz Reinard on December 16, 1951. They later moved to Green River, Wy where she graduated high school and later went on to college in Rock Springs and Laramie.

In 1972 she met the love of her life and married Tom Chapman in 1974. They were blessed with 3 children, Trent, Alan and Tommi. They spent their time as a family doing everything outdoors including their main love of horses, hunting, fishing, or just camping and hiking.

Kathy also had many other interests. If not outside, she would be found doing some beautiful emboirdrry work, crossstiching or crocheting. She often had a piece of embroidery floss or Yarn in her hand creating memerable projects for her many family and friends. She was also found quite often in the garden and then canning the fruits of her labor to share with family and friends.

Kathy also held down a full time job at FMC having many different positions until she was medically retired after 25 years due to her first cancer diagnosis (breast cancer).

After leaving Jamestown, they moved to Pavillion, Wy where Kathy and Tom purchased and managed an 80 acre farm together where she lived the rest of her days on earth.

She is survived by husband Tom Chapman, sons Trent Chapman, Alan Chapman, daughter Tommi and husband Jeff Halverson. Her mother Jessie Mae Reinard, three brothers, Gary Reinared, James Reinard and wife Kathleen, Terry Reinard and wife Kathy. Five grandchildren, Shane, Gabriel, Madison, Dean and Will. Great granddaughter Helena.

She is preceeded in death by her father Harold Francis Reinard and her sisters in law, Raelene Reinard and Katrina Reinard.

A small family service will be arranged at a later date in the spring when we can get together and reminisce about our loved ones and share precious memories.

In lieu of flowers or monitary condolence, please donate to a cancer charity of your choice in remembrance of Kathy.
