    The Custodial Services Supervisor supervises the operational, technical, and personnel activities associated with custodial services.


    • Make sure employees are trained properly and they understand their job responsibilities.
    • Educate employees on changes, objectives, and goals of the organization.
    • Coach employees if their work or job duties need improvement.
    • Make sure employees know the department policies and procedures and follow them.
    • Develop schedules and hold employees accountable.
    • Make sure that shifts are covered or hire to cover shifts.
    • Maintain contracts for linen and biohazard waste pick up.
    • Oversee a high-quality department.
    • Conducts performance evaluations for Custodial Services staff that are timely and constructive.
    • Handles disciplinary action for the Custodial Services staff in accordance with WRFCHC policy.
    • Other duties as assigned to maintain and enhance the operation of the department.


    • High School diploma/GED required.
    • Minimum of three years infection control experience in a health care setting. Previous supervisor experience preferred.
    • Must Possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under WRFCHC’s auto insurance policy.
    • Ability to interact well with other staff and patients, including those of other cultural backgrounds.
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check under the Indian Child Protection Act and Family Act (P.L.101-630).
    • Current BLS Certification or must be able to obtain it within 60 days of hire.


    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
    • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
    • May be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.
