    Juvenile Justice Services of Fremont County is seeking a full-time Juvenile Probation officer.  This individual will;

    ·        Conduct Intake and Assessments for all juveniles referred to Youth Services,

    ·        Provide recommendations to the Single Point of Entry Committee (SPEC),

    ·        Supervise Juveniles on Pre-Court Diversion Contracts,

    ·        Collaborate with all Juvenile Justice Agencies in Fremont County and the State of Wyoming,

    ·        Attend court hearings and provide recommendations to the Prosecuting Attorney and/or Presiding Judge,

    ·        Conduct random home visits and perform urinalysis testing as required by program standards,

    ·        Conduct groups as needed to to fulfill requirements of the Pre-Court Diversion Contract,

    ·        Document all client contacts and submit weekly,

    ·        Communicate with families and create linkages to the community,

    ·        Transport clients as needed and/ or directed,

    ·        Adhere to Confidentiality Laws and Regulations and ethical boundaries,

    ·        All other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

     

    Qualifications:             Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Education, or other closely relation field and/or evidence of experience working with at risk juveniles.

     

    Hiring range:              Salary based on experience

    Hours:                         Flexible 40 hours per week

    Location:                     Fremont County, but will be based in Lander
