October 12th is National Farmer’s Day, and to say it plays a role in Fremont County would be an understatement. We took a look back at what all has happened in 2020!
Numerous programs and initiatives have been spurred into action this year like the Wyoming Food Coalition, a Mobile Meat Science Lab, and so many others that play a role in farming and agriculture.
While overcoming challenges and changes, several Junior Livestock Sellers were excited to be at the 2020 Fremont County Fair. You can check out our #AgLife interviews from the fair on our YouTube Channel here.
This year even had a few firsts like the Bappe family winning the commercial hay division, and Wyoming Custom Meats processed the first beef for Food from the Farm + Ranch.
This post is not all-inclusive of happenings in the farm world for 2020, but just the tip of the iceberg or maybe just one row of corn in a field as it were (analogies might not be a strength for me).
Hat tip to all the farmers out there!
