Nearly the entire span of Interstate 80 across Wyoming is shut down again Sunday due to weather conditions in the eastern portion of the state, and as a “rolling closure” in the western part of the state.
I-80 was shut down most of Saturday between Cheyenne and Evanston due to poor weather in the western part of the state. Most of the interstate did open Saturday evening for a few hours.
According to the Wyoming Road and Weather Conditions Facebook page, many truck drivers are reporting that parking for semi’s has become extremely difficult. The large groups of traffic may be partly responsible for the “rolling closure.”
As of 7:30 a.m. Sunday, WYDOT did not have an estimated reopening time. To check road closures, click here.
