10:30 a.m. update: The interstate has reopened.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation has announced that Interstate 80 westbound between Cheyenne and Laramie is closed due to crashes and winter conditions.
The interstate closed shortly before 9:00 a.m. Sunday and estimated reopening time is unknown at this point.
