Shawna Jo Bell, 42, of Mill Creek, Wyoming, was born on August 8, 1979 and died on April 10, 2022in Ethete, Wyoming. An All Night Wake will be held at 7:00pm, Monday, April 18, 2022 in the Family Home 114 Blue Sky Highway, Ethete. The Funeral Service will be 10:00am, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in the Rocky Mountain Hall, Fort Washakie, Wyoming. Burial will follow in the Friday Family Cemetery, Ethete, Wyoming.
Shawna Jo was born to Edward Lon Bell Sr. and Sharon K. Martel (Bell) in the Bishop Randall Hospital, Lander, Wyoming. She graduated from Wyoming Indian High School in Ethete, Wyoming 1997. She then went to Casper, Wyoming and completed the Heavy Equipment operating school where she obtained her CDL. She worked various construction jobs throughout Wyoming and was a substitute teacher at Wyoming Indian Schools and the Head start programs. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, especially the young children. She loved making everyone laugh and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Everyone loved her unique style and sense of humor.
Shawna was preceded in death by her father, Edward Lon Bell; brothers, Christopher, Hawk, Reid, and Eddie Bell; grandparents, Franklin (Loretta) Martel, Benjamin (Isabelle) Friday; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and cousins on the Martel and Bell families
